The Hawaii Chinese Christian Churches Union is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves as the umbrella body for Chinese Christian congregations throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Headquartered in Honolulu, our Union brings together churches that minister to Hawaii's vibrant Chinese community, which has been a cornerstone of island life for over 150 years.
Chinese immigrants have played a profound role in shaping Hawaii's cultural, economic, and spiritual landscape. The Chinese Christian church has been at the heart of this community, providing spiritual guidance, cultural preservation, and social support across generations. Our Union honors this legacy while looking forward to new ways of serving our community in the 21st century.

The Hawaii Chinese Christian Churches Union coordinates a wide range of programs that serve both member churches and the broader community. Our Annual Union Worship Gathering brings together congregations from across the islands for a day of unified praise, prayer, and fellowship that celebrates our shared faith and Chinese heritage.
The Chinese Language Ministry supports member churches in maintaining Cantonese and Mandarin worship services, ensuring that first-generation immigrants and heritage language speakers can worship in their mother tongue. We also provide resources for bilingual ministry development.
Our Community Service Coordination program facilitates collaborative outreach among member churches, enabling more effective responses to community needs such as senior care, youth mentorship, and new immigrant support services. The Union also hosts an annual Chinese Christian Youth Conference that brings together young people from all member congregations.
The Hawaii Chinese Christian Churches Union has been a vital force for unity and service within Hawaii's Chinese community for decades. By bringing together congregations that might otherwise operate in isolation, our Union multiplies the impact of each member church and creates a stronger collective witness to the love of Christ.
